As far i shared many links in Facebook, i will not get that much traffic to the site Facebook fails to bring traffic to the site but twitter with descent followers it brings better traffic to the blog , in Facebook if you have a page with 2k -3k fans you can get a normal traffic so i suggest you to have a twitter account and a good followers of your niche this will definitely bring traffic to your site
